Vista 21
Bentonville, Arkansas
The Vista 21 project borders a natural wetlands area and was considered unbuildable. While designing the building, special consideration was needed to address the site, mainly the difficulty to erect steel, precast concrete, masonry, and canopies on the unstable ground. Even with all these challenges, the building was completed on time. It stands oriented parallel to the Razorback Greenway Trail and is shaped to take full effect of the site and views of the wetlands, providing a better work environment for the people inside. The natural surroundings offer a lush backdrop for the building’s clean and simple lines. The curtain wall system allows for many of the spaces to have panoramic views of the area. A luxurious open patio, facing west, was constructed for the Clorox team members to entertain and enjoy the wood line beyond. Vista 21 received first place in the category of Commercial from the Associate Buildings and Contractors (ABC) of Arkansas.
