University of Arkansas delta gamma women’s Fraternity House

(with Michael G. Imber Architects)

Fayetteville, Arkansas

After many years, Delta Gamma has rechartered at the University of Arkansas campus. With their new chapter, the sorority needed a new house. Core worked closely with the University of Arkansas and Delta Gamma to create a beautiful, classically designed home for DG that fits into the campus master plan and provides for the Chapter’s and University’s needs for many years to come. Designed in partnership with Michael G. Imber Architects, the house is a multi-programmatic project in and of itself, with sleeping quarters for over 80 students, a gathering space for chapter and events for 400, a dining room and full commercial kitchen, formal living spaces, study rooms, and an elaborate garden. It is the anchor of Maple St. and Arkansas Ave, and a landmark for the University.

Delta Gamma was the 2021 Traditional Building’s Palladio Award Winner for the New Design & Construction--less than 30,000 sq.ft. category.
